Julie Herron was born on September 11th 1981. She became interested in art at a very young age, first through animated programs and movies, second through encouragement from the teacher in a first grade art class. She continued to hone her skills through out the rest of her public school years again gaining much encouragement from her art teachers. After graduating high school, Julie continued on the pursuit to better her skills going to Savannah College of Art and Design where she studied the animation track focusing on traditional animation. Julie graduated from Savannah in 2004 with a degree in Computer Animation.
Julie's focus shifted after graduation when she realized she wanted to do more then just work on other people's ideas. Now she illustrates, designs characters and environments, and writes short stories and novels, as well as drawing comics. She hopes to have her work grow to be recognized on a larger scale and bring enjoyment to others.
