Lots of Stuff Behind the Scenes

Photobucket

Sorry I’ve been absent on the site. I’ve still been working and have finished one calendar image and am close to finishing the next. I should get to doing that faster, but I’ve been working on another idea I’ve had that isn’t art related. I can’t say much about it right now, but it’s evolved greatly from the beginning. Hopefully I’ll get it coming to you all soon. It’ll be web based so no one will miss out on that! It probably won’t get together till next year, but I’ll begin putting more information out as the blocks begin falling into place.

As for all that art work I need to be doing, I have a week of vacation coming up and I plan on focusing all that down time on drawing, coloring, and writing. I hope to finish the book, get most of the calendar done, and maybe draw some more stuff. Hopefully the next year will prove fruitful for all of these projects.

I know I’ve been slack on a lot of things, but I’ve had a lot of thinking to do about where I’m going and if getting there is worth it or something I really want. I’m still determined, but we all have doubts at time. Especially when it seems like we’re going no where.

I should be posting those new images up here, but I’m behind on getting them web ready... like most things. Sorry! I want to finish this latest one then put both of them up together. Hang with me! This next year is going to be dynamite!

Brand New Day

Welcome to the blog portion of Bus Stop Days. I’m using this part of the site to post work in progress and keep everyone updated with what’s happening in my life. I know that many personal sites don’t get up dated frequently because new content takes time to make, but hopefully I can keep this blog updated more frequently and offer a more personal connection with my viewers out there.

I’ll be sharing post on art I’m creating(possibly even featuring friends and other artist), convention attendance, progress on the career in artistic fields, and blogging about some things that interest me like anime, manga, and figures.

To catch everyone up, I’ll be attending Heroes Con this June on the weekend of the 19th and will be there till Sunday. I’ll be selling a print of Beach Girl June, I had 15 printed by Paper Forest and will be selling them for 15 US Dollars. I’m mostly using this as a gauge to see how things will go because I’ve never actually sold at a convention before. I would have made more prints, but money is too tight for it right now.
I’m also going to be taking some of my personal collection and selling those to clear out items I no longer want. This is ranging from Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailormoon toy wands and merchandise to DVDs and manga.

Look foward to seeing you there!
